I intend to apply for educational/developmental psychology doctorate in the future. I've so far graduated with a 2.1 in BSc (Hons) Psychology which is BPS accredited. I'm taking a break from education this year and I hope to do my Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology in September, so in the mean time I would like to get some more experience in this area under my belt.
I've looked at a lot of SEN teaching assistant positions which would be perfect but they're mostly in London so I would end up spending most of my money on travel and there aren't a lot of positions like this in my area. I also don't mind working part time in a shop for money and then volunteering in my spare time.
Can anyone recommend some jobs or volunteering that I could do that will help me gain some needed experience?
And whilst I'm here, does anyone here have any experience applying for UCL postgraduate courses?
