    ...the final year

    Oops, missed out some words.

    I.e. do your marks in the last year carry more weight in your final degree classification than those from your second year? I recall the answer being 'yes' but just wanted to double check. I assume this information is on the website but thought it'd be quicker to ask... I'm specifically wondering about the weighting for BA Sociology but it'd be good to know if there's a university-wide policy about this. Thanks!

    Every uni and course will do it differently so your best bet is to check the website or course handbook. But generally yes your final year has the most weightage.

    First year counts, but counts for 10%, last year counts for the most, depending on if you're doing a Bachelors or a Masters.
