1. I'm confused, I can't remember what I'm supposed to do for this

that was simple, thanks
4. Enthalphy of system = enthalpy formation of products - enthalpy formation of reactants
So 96 = 3x - (-822)
And then find x (H2O).

That should be right, although the holiday has dulled my mind quite a bit.
