I was a first year student that interrupted my studies for mental health reasons.

While I was away travelling, my mother told me I received a letter from the student loans company saying that if I didn't update my details by such and such date my interest rates would increase and there would be other penalties.

When I applied for student finance, due to my impending return to uni, I discovered that while I have my maintenance loan funded, I have zero tuition funding.

I can't quite make much sense of this.

    Hi there.

It sounds as though you are now in Repayments and will need to speak to Student Loan Repayments team on 0300 100 0611 to update them on your current employment status.
