So I'm starting as a postgrad student (I went to a different university for my undergrad) and I'm going to be living at home so basically I'm panicking about not meeting people!

As I won't be in halls how hard is this going to be? Can I still do freshers? Or am I too old now haha

I'm starting as a postgrad too, no idea what the vibe is at Manchester, but if it's anything like my masters at my previous uni, just turn up to welcome week things, and then you'll probably end up hanging out all year with people who do the same course as you anyway! But you are never too old for freshers week IMO 😄
