Anybody got advise/tips that they wish they had known?

You literally don't have to be friends with anyone you don't want to be friends with

Starting sixth form too, could do with some tips too !

take every opp to get to know people

Its ok to want to move back to your old school, talk to a staff member/pastoral worker if you dont feel comortable (I spent 10-15 minutes daily with the sixth form pastoral worker for the first fortnight after I moved last year, still at the new place)
Don't worry too much about the work, just do a little bit each day and yo'll stay right on top of it with not a vast amount of effort
Try to get along with as many people as possible, including staff.
Really apply yourself for the first term or so and join a couple of clubs to meet people.

You'll get a fair bit of sympathy from people for the first couple of weeks if you don't overdo the 'I'm new here' excuse. PM me if you need more help,
It takes a fair bit of effort and a want to make the move work for it to do so. Best of luck.

    Work SOLID from week 1

It's all about balance, don't overwork yourself. Chill.
