I'm starting work at Primark and in the interview the woman said trainers were fine as long as they were all black and weren't canvas but the uniform form they emailed me said no trainers? Anyone know if trainers are okay as that is what I would prefer to wear?

I've seen black trainers on employees so I think it should be fine

black shoes/trainers with no logos are best, anything black or not bright in colour with no massive logo should be okay.
Black trousers or dark blue jeans are accepted, but it counts on the primark itself, what theyll allow.
    they give you the top

after 3 months when probation is over i doubt they'll care what you wear, unless it's really stupid or your managers are tight.

I just wear black trainers with white soles (they're from primark) and they're fine with it. Black or blue jeans are fine and they give you the number of tops for days you work (I'm contracted to five days, so five tops)
