Well respected A-level subjects?

I've just finished GCSE's, and I have just chosen my A-level subject options.
The subjects I have decided to go with are English Literature, History, Philosophy and Film. Are these well respected subjects for universities?

I've chosen my a levels too. We got told (and I agree with) go with what you love and not what you feel looks good. English literature and history are facilitating subjects so they are both very useful to have.

honestly, I wouldn't call film well-respected. but just because it isn't a "traditional" subject doesn't mean it's not a great option that you can get loads out of, as long as it's something you enjoy! and the other three options you have picked are definitely very 'respected', so you seem to have a pretty well-rounded set of options
