Of mice and men unit 1 wjec tips

Hello everyone,
I have a unit 1 GCSE lit exam on January 4th and I just wanted to ask some tips on how to get the top grades

here are my top tips!

write a lot about a little.
structure your essays well,
use technical vocabulary,
always state what the word type is of the word you are analysing,
use original interpretation - that you haven't learnt in class (don't worry, you can find some great stuff online!) believe in yourself,
practice writing in the timed conditions, fully understand your book,
give alternative analysis of your quotations,
try and embed your quotations well within your sentence, so, that it helps the sentence flow. for example - hannah appears to be an 'insightful, but, sometimes an over the top person.'
make sure that you are analysing and not just retelling the story!
