Job security (there will always be people that will have stinky teeth that need TLC <3), money, status, etc. Unfortunately you are more likely to be a successful dentist than a musician or a cyber warrior.
Let's be honest, no sane person would want to check stinky teeth! If they do it, they do it for the money

The higher the grades, the more freedom you have as to where you can study. I suspect dentistry is competitive, lots of people are wanting to apply to the course so you're going to have to haul butt when it comes to the A levels to compensate.
