quitting uni before graduating : what happens with the loan ?

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

I have applied for a tuition fee loan with SLC, and I will be getting it (£9000). I'm about to start my first undergraduate year in London as an international student. I don't know if I'm gonna like, or be able to simply keep up. If I decide to quit and go back home after the first year, what happens with the first year loan ? Does it work as if I had graduated and will be repaying gradually once my income is sufficient or will they expect full and immediate repayment ?
