Colleges should be prepared to be flexible, yes?

I got my GCSE's on the 25th August and I got a D in English language I got a C in literature, core and additional science and in history. I got a B in maths and d in geography, art and German. I applied for criminology, history and biology. Since I can't do biology at Alevel I would sociology instead and I got told no to my Alevels because of my language the college I applied to is supposed to be flexible to allow me to still do my Alevels but I was told that I had to have my English so I applied for creative media but I was told media was more of hobby to me I have now got to go into the college a third day in a row to sort this out any tips?
