How can I trust the decisions I make?

    Basically last academic year I made really dumb decisions towards nearly everything, whole summer I beat myself up (regret basically) because of mistakes,lack of action and ignorance

    Now I am making the right decisions I think? But I am full of self doubt, and what ifs

    You can't - that's the beauty of making decisions.
    You just have to get to the point where you are confident enough to decide in that thing.
    Ie: relevant research, lots of thinking, asking people, going places etc. etc.
    Your experiences will improve this process as you age
