Mobile phone sim card

    Im from Ireland and im moving over to wales to go to college, the mobile phone company i am with is Vodafone pay as you go, so will i need to buy a new sim card or will my Irish Vodafone sim card work just the same in wales as it does in Ireland? Here in Ireland i can go in to the supermarkets like Tesco and dunes stores and purchase credit to top up my phone. Can Tesco in the UK carry out this service that same as Ireland?

    I am not certain, but I suspect you will need to take out a new SIM card to avoid roaming charges. I believe you can still buy pay as you go credit in supermarkets / etc, but it has been a long time since I was last on PAYG, so I am not certain.
