How full on is distance learning?

Currently looking at a business and management degree with UoL. Should I be expecting to be working full throttle every day for the next 3/4 years? How mnay hours a day/week do you put into it?

If you are planning to complete the degree in 3 years then you will be studying almost full time, I would guess 30 hours per week same as a student at university (if you include their home study as well as lectures).
It all depends on the course. My experience of degree level distance learning is that it is focussed and relevant. Some weeks are more about reading others are more about getting coursework done. It's all manageable because a good course will be objective in what they ask you to do.
