Corbyn would probably be the worst option.

I don't think either of those parties are extremist, but thats a matter of opinion. My point is that it demonstrates just how far they have come from their so called socialist routes that when an actual socialist party is mentioned they run around screaming their heads off to discredit them as quickly as possible.

Frankly I don't expect the Labour party to be cosy bed fellows with actual socialists, I am just surprised that they are so willing to demonize and exclude left wing opinions from their own dialogue.
They've always had Socialist roots, however they've never been Trotskyist and/or revolutionary(despite the efforts of various organisations with those ideologies to try and associate themselves with them).

I quite like Corbyn, but he's pretty bad for the country ultimately as the general public won't vote for him. Smith is quite possibly one of the worst candidates to lead this rebellion, there's some top talent within the labour party and this joker is the only one who stepped up. In terms of the debate, I think Smith came off really poorly and desperate, the accusations Corbyn is a racist and the you'll stay in the EU with me smacks of a desperate man who's out of life jackets.
