I have just been up to the University of Bristol for an open day, and I really liked the city, university itself and the accommodation. However, I'm not so sure about the course for History (which is what I would be applying for). The option choice seemed somewhat limited compared to other I've seen universities like King's College London (please correct me if I'm wrong), and being able to choose what interests me is something high on my priorities to study History.

So, is the History course at Bristol good and how expansive (and enjoyable/interesting) are the option choices available? This will really be the deciding factor for if I apply there or not as every other aspect of the university greatly appealed to me.
