Which uni accepted you? What grades did you get at gcse and a level? What else did you have on your cv eg extra curricular - sports, volunteering etc.

St Andrews, Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt, Strathclyde (I only applied for 4): all unconditional
I also got a Cambridge interview but I withdrew my application before doing it.

I moved to Scotland after my GCSE's so this might not be helpful but anyway
Advanced Highers: Math, Physics, French (AAB)
Highers: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Classical Studies, History (all A)

    GCSE's: 8 A*, 2 A

Extra-curricular: helped out in lower year maths classes, mentored younger pupils
Did outside reading (mostly popular science books and New Scientist).

I did have extenuating circumstances so I'm not sure if I got a pass for my lack of EC's or if they didn't really care because I was applying for maths.
