Hi, I'm having trouble with this set of simultaneous equations for some reason and I just can't get the right answer
((I don't know where the pi symbol is so please take p as being pi)
This was the original question:
The diagram shows the net of a cylindrical container of radius r cm and height h cm. The full width of the metal sheet from which the container is made is 100cm, and the shaded area is waste. The s.a. of the container is 1400p cm^2.
i) write down a pair of simultaneous equations for r and h.
ii) find the volume of the container, giving your answers in terms of pi.
So for the simultaneous equations I got h+4r=100, and 2prh + 2pr^2 = 1400p
But after I got these, whatever I've tried just isn't giving a reasonable answer.
Simultaneous equations help? :S

Also, this is in the C1 section so I'm assuming I can't use a calculator

WAIT NEVER MIND I GOT IT.
The answers in the back were obviously referring to the final volume whereas I was comparing the values I got for r and h
