Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

Hi all, First time poster. Looking at starting a Physics based degree via the open university this January. I am I guess a mature student now and I am looking to.becomr a researcher, preferably specializing astrophysics. Now the two options avaliable are Natural Science(Physics based) or Maths and Physics. I am really unsure which would be the better degree to take for my long term goal. Any advice would be much appreciated? I have read all they entail, simply working out which will be taken more seriously by employers and which will give me more knowledge is most important.

It really doesn't matter but a math and physics degree will be broader and thus open up more options.
