So i'm 24 and graduated from university two years ago with a first class honours degree in politics.Since then, I have worked at a major charity in corporate partnerships, then an arts organisation in sponsorships and I am returning to a management role at said major charity. I've moved pretty quickly up the ladder and the new salary I will be taking is quite healthy. The only thing is, I don't want to work in corporate partnerships forever, and I would like to work in political communications or something along that line.I won't have any specific experience, but we do work with companies to fulfil their community objectives and there are agencies such as Corporate Citizenship that sort of bridge the gap. What I'd like to know is what, alongside working in my new role, what can I do to supplement my CV to make the transition in the future? I am starting my own small partnerships agency to help small creative organisations to align with companies but I wonder if i'm missing something.I also considered doing a masters in political comms but it's pricey and is it worth the time? Thanks so much for reading!
