    Did you do your GCSEs at a state school? If so, go to this site, https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/, enter your school's name and tell me what your percentages your school has for each bar on key stage 4 achievement.
    Pupils achieving A*-C in English and Maths GCSEs was at 64% for my school. So does the university care a lot about the GCSEs then? What would happen if I got 5A*s at A levels. Would that mean nothing?

    I got 8A*'s 2A's and a B at GCSE
    4A's at AS (Maths,Chemistry, physics, geography-dropped)
    Predicted A*A*A/A*AA
    I want to do something involving maths, physics and economics (didn't take eco at AS or GCSE + plus no further maths at AS or A2)

    From looking at the entry requirements, it seems as if I could potentially get into Oxford if i get an A* in maths, as they don't seem to bothered about FM, unlike Cambridge. (pretty certain I've got no chance at getting into cambridge lol)

    Easier to get into Oxford(A*AA), however I can't seem to find a 3-year course only a 4-year Masters, which I'm not too interested in. Cambridge on the other hand is through the natural sciences course (A*A*A) and is 3-years which I would prefer.

    I was just wondering if the courses are more essay based, as I'm not too good at them or mathematical.

    PS. On a side note, I was think of applying to Warwick, yet the entry requirements are so high;

    Maths/Economics requirements for Warwick
    A*A*A + STEP/ AEA including grade A* in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and grade 2 in any STEP/ Distinction in AEA Mathematics
    A*A*A* including grade A* in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and a non-Maths subject
    A*A*AA including grade A* in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and AA in two non-Maths subjects

    As don't take FM, but take 3 maths based subjects could i get in with A*AA (maths,physics,chemistry)
