I applied for a course in Media back in Feb at my first choice college (15 miles away) was turned down despite already doing 2 years at university in the subject, having radio and newspaper experience (which was published) working as a runner whilst at university as I wasn't good enough!.
My 2nd choice at same college was Television Production which I like but lack passion to do it every day at college, I did get offered a place but course was full so was put on a reserve list.
In the meantime as the college only allows 2 maximum applications I was emailed saying a course in creative studies was created and did I want to apply, so had to open a 2nd application account and applied and was given place without interview.
This course seems half art based half media based and to be honest I can't do any form of art I am useless and as such I dislike it, but the rest of course is more suitable than plain TV Production.
Course starts next week and I have enrolled for both but unsure what to pick.
I also was accepted for HNC/NC Tech Support at local college but I don't like local college and it takes almost as much time to get there as the other one due to rush hour traffic and the college buses are cramped to the point people are turned away so takes longer plus its out of town.
So im torn mostly between the TV course and creative course at the good college between the "better" of the two which is tv and one where I dislike half the course but love the other half.
Not sure what course to choose.
