Freshers 2016 - who ?

Just wanted to ask; my friends want to come down to my halls for freshers (not the entire week just one or two nights) will they get in to the events without tickets? Can they buy on the door? Finally; the last question which may sound silly is do they need to be a student to attend freshers events?

Anyone can come they gotta look like a fresher tho, obviously they cant be like a 50 year old man. You can buy tickets online, not sure about at the door :/
