Can I cancel my Tuition Fee Loan despite registering.

Hi SFE,

I was wondering, in case I get an external scholarship I applied for (which I haven't got a response from yet) - until what point can I cancel my tuition fee loan so that it doesn't affect me
1. Before the registration date which is next week for me or
2. Before the first payment installment specified on my student finance entitlement

also, my student finance household details are tied to my bursary at university - will this get affected if I cancel my tuition fee loan.
