Science Textbook or Revision Guide?

Ok so I got a C last year year 9 core. I want to retake and going to do additional and extension this year. I have the fat textbook the edexcel one should I make notes off of that or get a cgp and make notes. whats the best way and what grades have you got doing so

I would recommend that you get a CGP revision guide but use BOTH to make notes. I never really used the main course textbooks (both at GCSE and A Level) because I feel that they contain a bit too much unnecessary information. Revision guides, on the other hand, sometimes don't contain enough.. So it'd be a good idea to use your course specification alongside your revision guide when making notes and if you find something that is missing from the revision guide in the spec - just use your main textbook or look it up online. Other than that try to find videos that work for you and do lots of past papers! Good luck! :smile:
