    Hi guys,
I'm currently doing the BTEC level 3 extended diploma in business course. I'm expected to achieve grades between DDD-D*D*D* and I have a good reference and personal statement. I'm 18 years old and spent two years doing A levels but ultimately that did not work out. I'm clever but wasted my time and now I realise this is my final shot at getting into a good uni and I'm very motivated to do well.
My only worry is that will this qualification alone get me into Russell group/top 20 universities? UoB, Manchester, Leicester, Warwick, Leeds, Loughborough etc... I wanted to do A Level maths with it too but my college said it clashes with my Business timetable so independant study is an option. Basically I just want to know how likely/possible it is to get into them sort of unis and whether any of you people on here went through something similar and where are you now etc...

EDIT: Forgot to mention, degrees I'm looking to do are Finance, Banking, Economics and as a last resort, Business. I'd like to work in the finance sector as an Investment banker or something along those lines. I've been told my a couple friends currently doing Accounting and Finance to stay away from that course as it's very dull, long winded and based only on becoming an accountant,

You can get into russell group univesities with this qualification. I am currently studying my second year of the same course and you can get into loughborough, lancaster, leicester, manchester, newcastle, birmingham etc. However, you would need an A or B grade in a-level maths alongside it to get into bristol, warwick, lse, leeds, etc. Trust me, i have emailed nearly all of them. Well, this is considering that you would like to do a business related degree in university such as business management or accounting and finance. If you wanted to study a science degree in university with a btec lvl 3 ext dipl in business, you won't get into a single russell group.
