Did you need to bring in reference?

I will be working for Dingle soon to exterminate council homes through a mate who does it as well...not sure if you wanna do my work though hehe

You would normally offer a reference (or 2) only if requested by the future employer. And then the future employer will contact your reference(s) directly themselves.

Most prior employers will only provide a basic reference, stating dates of employment and job title(s). Not a "character" reference.

Also references are often only taken up after your interview and sometimes only when you are actually employed in your probationary period.
