I have feelings for a friend and I want to take it further?

I have feelings for a female friend of mine but I am also a girl, we are both almost 16. I am not open about my sexuality and neither is she, she has had a boyfriend over a year ago but she doesn't talk about boys and isn't really girly so I feel like maybe she could like girls.

I talk to her everyday in lessons and also at break/lunch, she has started conversations on snapchat with me and we flirt alot during those, we flirt in person too but I don't know if that is because she likes me, she isn't very outgoing with everyone so the flirting again makes me wonder if she likes me.

I would like to know how to hint feelings for her without asking her on a date or actually telling her. She is quite quiet so I don't want to rush or pressure her into anything.
Should I try to show her I care about her?
