If the payment dates state 19/09/2016, does your finance actually go in on this date or is it delayed? If it is delayed how long is it normally for? :smile:

That's the earliest date on which it will be paid. The actual date will depend on how soon your uni confirms your attendance to Student Finance. If your uni has sent you notification of when you enrol on campus, it will usually be paid a few days after you have done that.

Have you enrolled and took your entitlement letter with you, the university needs to send confirmation of registration to student finance to release the payment.
Once confirmation of registration is sent by your university it takes around 48 hours for it to show on the student finance payment system and then around 3 working days to pay the money into your bank.

Above poster is incorrect as confirmation of attendance is for tuition fees
