Hi, yesterday I took one cigarette to see what it tastes like - I had no intentions of taking up the habit. Anyway, it tasted awful like stale coffee, I didn't smoke anymore than around a half of the cigarette.

Anyway, it has been about 18 hours. I have had a bath and two showers since.. I don't think I personally smell too bad but my breath does. It isn't a strong smell and I doubt that you would smell it if you weren't right beside me. There is an awful sour taste in my mouth, I guess it intensified overnight.

I brushed my teeth several times and also gargled Bacon Soda and water for several minutes, it did take away the taste temporarily but it is back bow albiet not as intense.

How can I get rid of this horrific taste from my mouth? If I can't when is it going to fade away? I must admit that I am shocked at how long this is lasting considering I only smoked half of a cigarette. *

Drink à litre of cranberry juice and then eat a few chewing gums.

I've ate loads of food now and it's only masking it. I am shocked at how long the smell is lasting.

I'm just worried people can smell it.*
