Leniency/Is It Worth It?

Hi, just looking for opinions from Manchester students here.Manchester's always been my dream uni, I got rejected when I initially applied last year because for whatever reason my teachers gave me crap predicted grades, so I didn't even get an offer from them. So I've finished my exams now with a BBB (Maths, English Language, Geography). This has gotten me a place at Leicester for Economics in 2017 (I'm taking a gap year before starting university).

However, I still really want to go to Manchester. Leicester seems like a decent place/uni but I'm really passionate about going to Manchester. Would it be worth reapplying for a place for next year, or is there no way I'd get in with BBB (the entry requirements for Economics are AAB). I don't know how lenient Manchester is.

Furthermore, if I did reapply, would I be able to reapply at Leicester and get my place back in case Manchester reject me again?? I hear they are quite lenient.
