I have predictions of A*AA and wish to study Chemical Engineering.
Should I apply to Imperial despite them wanting 2A*s?

Apply, but don't set your heart on it too much. Try to choose your other choices wisely so that you have places you're more likely to get into. Also, realise that any offers you do get will most likely ask for the additional A* so you need to work hard now to be in a good place to achieve that.
