Exeter Predicted A level results

I know Exeter operate a "tier system" and A* , A* , A is tier 2.
Last year it appears that there was a Heated disscussion over tier 2 applicants with high UKcat scores not getting an interview.
Does anybody know how many of the estimated 500 interviews were Tier 2 ,
and is there anypoint applying to Exeter in 2017 Without the Magic Tier 1.
