Ordinary and Extraordinary ART GCSE?

So the theme for my mock paper is Ordinary and/or Extraordinary, and the subjects I can choose are people, places, activities and imagination.

I'm thinking of doing people's expressions', or maybe a circus theme?

I quite like the idea of doing Star Wars and sci-fi stuff.

Any fun ideas? Thanks :smile:
I'd say do something on the paralympics, and how their achievements are extraordinary!

This was my GCSE topic so I have some artists you might want to look at;
Cindy Sherman
Joseph Cornell
Francisco Goya
Lisa Milroy
Brian Froud
Tjalf Sparnaay
Francis Bacon

I really liked Cindy Sherman because she basically dressed up herself as different stereotypes so she is creating extraordinary images through the use of ordinary misconceptions. I literally dressed up as a clown and painted my face and took pictures then painted a picture of it -it was honestly so fun lol.
For Brian Froud who does fantasy I literally took a picture of myself and added fairy accessories and drew it. Art can be so fun lol:tongue:
