Your favorite element and why.

For me, it's iron. I like how it's involved in the continuity of life: carrying oxygen in our blood, making the earths core, used in food industries etc.

Tungsten for no reason whatsoever.
A pirate's favourite element is ARRRRgon.

A woman's least favourite element is helium because it is on it's first period.
The element of surprise.

Spoiler

Carbon. It can do so many different things.
Mercury or Silver because:
- I love silver, and mercury looks like liquid silver, which is so cool, whilst silver is pretty self explanatory haha. I think solid silver itself is so beautiful, way more than gold imo.
- Mercury's a poison; although many elements are it's a noted / infamous one. I did an EPQ project on poisons, and I find them really interesting.
- Mercury = Quicksilver and he's my favourite of the X-Men (in the films) for reasons .
- Mercury is a planet.
- Mercury is also a Roman god.

Runners up: Cadmium (so many colours are Cadmium...), Cobalt (see cobalt blue), Arsenic, Platinum (expensive silver), Francium (put it in water and boom!).
Manganese because it spells out pineapple
My favorite element us the ever common carbon because it's involved in all things organic and everything to do with life

I also like the noble gases because their names sound spacy (lol)
And as the poster above mercury is so kool
