What does QN on my A level certificate stand for?

It's right next to the grade and underneath it is a number by the likes of 500/2237/4? Thats how it appears on my ice edexcel certificate. On the AQA one it appears next to the subject name and the QN isn't written. What does this stand for?
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

Just quoting in Danny Dorito so she can move the thread if needed :wizard:

Spoiler

Hi, sorry you've not had any replies before, but it's the Qualification Number and it's the code assigned to the qualification you did.
For the example number, given here's the course details:
Pearson Education Ltd
Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in History
GCE A Level
500/2237/4
9HI01

Sometimes people ask for this when looking up the degree or certification you did. A quick Google of any of the QN's on your A-Level's will return the degree.
Also you probably found this out within the 5 years, but given this is the top Google search when finding out what QN's are, I hope this helps any wanderers.
