So, I'm looking to redo my A-Levels with distance learning ready for university, and I've done a fair bit of research. I know all I need is to take the exams to get the A-Level, but I wanted take a distance learning course as well.

Currently, I'm choosing between UK Open College and National Extension College since they both have the courses I'm looking at and need some advice. UKOC's courses are a lot more affordable, but NEC's courses seem to come with a lot of amazingly useful stuff, like guaranteed exam places at partnered centers which, from what I gather, is a pain to get.

Has anyone heard anything about either of these, or better yet done any courses through these that could offer advice? Any help would be much appreciated. Also, first post on Student Room, so please forgive naivety

See if you can find an exam centre. If you can't then obviously NEC is what you need - but if you find it easy to find a centre, you clearly don't need that part!
