Waterways - Loughborough?

Hi,

I'm a third year and booked a room within Waterways for the next year and was hoping somebody had stayed there previously and could provide an insight into what it's like? Specifically socially.

I appreciate it's a private hall and it won't provide the same social scene as staying in Uni halls, but i'm anticipating, and have been told, that private halls can attract a lot of postgrads / international students / introverted people avoiding Freshers and was curious if this was the case?

I'm at peace with the idea of living in a quieter / less-social environment, and essentially sacrificing my social life in favour of a grinding year salvaging my degree, but the vast majority of my mates from previous years have graduated and it would be good to know what to expect from my accommodation social life-wise, eitherway. Thanks!
