Freshers and commuting
Hi,
My freshers week for uni of Nottingham starts Monday and I'm really worried about making friends because I've made the decision to commute, I currently live in the city centre so it seemed pointless moving into halls for the sake of a 15 minute drive to uni especially since most of the nights out will be happening closer to my house than they are to the halls. I'm quite social and outgoing so am not too worried about making friends on my course but more so who I can do things with for freshers because I don't want to miss out on the experience. My boyfriend has offered to come out with me as I don't want to go alone but I'm worried this will leave me unapproachable, please help!
