Colleges and offers

Will applying to a certain college give me a higher chance of getting in? Ie. Applying to colleges where less applicants apply to.
No. Colleges have before now rejected all direct applicants and taken only those from the pool i.e. who applied to other colleges first. The pooling system is such that you will get in if you're good enough and the college to which you apply should not affect your chance of an offer.

All colleges can see the whole field of application from the earliest stage of assessment process. So they'd just reject weaker direct applicants and fish stronger applicants who were pooled by oversubscribed colleges.
The pooling system is there to ensure the university as a whole can get most able candidates no matter which college they applied too.
Don't try to play the statistic game. It does not work.
