    (Original post by A* levels)
I am not doing enough work, wasting my time as this is my first year of AS. I always hear people saying A levels are hard and you will fail if you dont start the hard work from beginning. I am that type of person that will start proper hard work in the last month before the exams and I know that's a bad habbit.

I am doing A level maths, business, psychology (might take russian next year too). For some reason all the teachers I have in the school are so bad at teaching maybe its because I came from one of the best schools in London. I was not pleased with my GCSE's at all, I got 2As 4Bs and 3Cs which I was very disappointing in.

This year I promised myself I would try hard in these 2 years after I saw what will happen if you dont try hard in GCSE's. I am about to also get into a relationship with a girl I met a few weeks ago in my school...... would you suggest me to get into the relationship or not? Because what if the relationship will take a lot of my time..... I mean she is a very smart girl most of her GCSE's were A's
You will need to spend a lot of time working, but you'll also need free time for leisure as well. If you have a girlfriend that will take up some of your time, so you need to decide whether you would prefer to spend your free time with a girlfriend, or if you'd rather have time to watch TV, play computer games, or whatever you currently get up to. So it's not impossible to have a girlfriend, but you'll need to consider it carefully.
