You-cat or you-kay-cat?

Poll

How do you say 'UKCAT'?

My brother and I are having a (very meaningful, and not at all daft or pedantic) disagreement. He thinks 'UKCAT' is pronounced 'you-kay-cat' whilst I, following the rules of words such as 'kick' and 'muck', refer to it as the 'you-cat'. Despite its flaws (pollution, gun crime, Luton), I actually quite like the UK and would rather not associate it with such a test any more than I absolutely have to. Anyway, I'm too lazy to use a whole extra syllable.

So how do you pronounce it?

Haha, I am 'the brother' and it has to be you-kay-cat, otherwise you would be merging the K and the C, the Kingdom and the Clinical...hmm, a bit petty though I agree!

You-kay-cat surely? UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UK-CAT, like someone else said)
Yeah..."you-kat" seems like it would be UCAT to me. Or is that then "uh-kat"??

Obviously we need an american to resolve this dispute
