Im worried that my PS is too academic and that I haven't mentioned enough about my extra curriculars and my 'uniqueness'. Is this important bc I've only written like 100 words on it and I'm applying for English but it just seems to not fit.

Admissions tutors are far more interested in your academic interests in the subject

literally do not worry about your ''uniqueness'' unless it's related to the subject, so dont mention any hobbies/interests not related to the degree you're applying for at all

You honestly don't need to worry about non-academic stuff. The only non-academic stuff I've included was stuff that shows the goodness of my character and naturally flows from the academic stuff I've mentioned.

Make your personal statement unique by making sharp academic observations, not from talking about how you keep a farm of giant African land snails.

Agree with the above - the last thing you should worry about is that it's 'too academic'.
