Economics is more respected than Business and management.

The B&M course at Aston is tailored to what employers want from graduates (so im told).

Manchester University has a better reputation.

The Aston student will have a years work experience and the Manchester student would not.

The course at Aston is broader and you can choose Economics units.

Hehe I was trying not to be biased, but I probably would have taken the Economics at Manchester if I had unconditional from both; was cleaver enough to do it and and money wasn’t an issue (i’m a home student).

Economics is more maths based than BAM - If you are good at maths and like it, I would say go for economics - If not then go for BAM, you can always pick teh economics modules (that's what I plan to do as Im not a maths fan, but enjoy economics)
