Strengths?
Weakness- deterministic, unable to explain strong gender preferences, biologist suggest that chromosomes and hormones may have a role

One strength is that it has application because the theory has been used in CBT. A limitation is that it lacks external validity because there is not enough evidence to support the approach (too artificial and theory based).
