Funding for a dissertation resit

I have recently met with my university (Derby) and was unable to move forward into my final year because I failed my dissertation. I have the option to resit the dissertation and then pass it, and get into the final year. However, I am unable to pay the £3000+ fee that that would cost. Is there ANY way I can get extra student loan to cover the cost, if not part of the cost of this dissertation.

I study Primary Education (BEd).
