Grant repayment

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

Hi, I took a leave of absence last year and so left my uni course in April. I continued to live in my term time house and so needed the remainder of my loan. However, this year I am receiving approx £1300 less because of the above. I would like to know whether I could still receive this grant money (as is needed for rent) and then repay this amount along with the rest of my loan after graduating.

Our discretionary payments team may be able to consider deferring the grant over payment to the end of the academic year or the completion of the course. You should call us on 0300 100 0607 in order for us to get a Financial Hardship Confirmation Form emailed to you which you would sent along with evidence of your financial hardship.
