When a guy compliments your makeup

I noticed everytime I compliement a girl make up their face seem to lit up and they have a huge smile on the face.

Just wondering how other girls would feel when a guy compliments your makeup?
Wouldn't know because I don't wear make up.

Boys never compliment me.

Those two things may or may not be connected.

Tbh I would feel a little bad because you're complimented me on something that is not natural e.i. it's not something that is me, but something I apply on myself to enhance my features, and feel like without make-up you would not have said a thing to me.

However make-up requires some skill, so it might be like complimenting someone's painting. Idk. I'm probably not the kinda girl you're asking for. >.<
