My Third Year Advice to Freshers

    As my title suggests I am a Third Year so Freshers for me seems a lifetime ago!
    So, why am I writing in a Freshers Blog?

    Well, I seem to be constantly spewing Freshers advice and knowledge - in fact I enjoy doing so. I am here to support students and I will use this little forum to post small advice articles every now and again but I'd like to start this with this little piece of advice;

    Why should you blog as a student?

    Personally, I think it's a fantastic idea to try and get students blogging more! I started off doing it because it was originally about documenting my journey through university and having something to look back on - as well as having something potential students could read to understand someones experience before they start university.

    However, after a while, it started to turn into advice and knowledge that I was passing on to students in the years below me - because, personally, it wasn't something I had when starting university.

    So students should blog me! Talk about your experiences, talk about situations you've been in, talk about what you cook, talk about how you study, how you organise your room, how you dress for university - everything and anything! Just share being a student!

    Enjoy writing and it's a good break!

    If ANY Freshers have any questions or queries, please feel free to ask, but if not, watch this space for articles!

    Are you in your student accommodation or student house, looking around and thinking, there is a lot of stuff I forgot to buy!
    Well, guess what? Competition time!

    I am also a third year and I would also second this! Blogging as a student is great! I started in my first year and it is refreshing to look back on how I have coped! So if you're thinking about blogging whilst at uni, definitely do it!!
